I came across two articles from Engadget 1 2 that shows two different adds from Walmart and Toys – R – Us that shows the Microsoft Xbox 360 premium to be reduced $50 to a lower price of $349. This is no doubt a result of Sony dropping the price of the PS3 $100 to $499 and their sales skyrocketed. Microsoft has taken a big hit on the Xbox lately with sales slow due to PS3 and the Nintendo Wii and having to extend the warranty to 3 years due the red ring of death. I know my buddy Mike is a big Ps3 advocate as well as an Apple lover, I on the other hand am a big Microsoft advocate, so I definitely promote getting the 360. So if you are looking to get the 360 soon I would hold off until the price drop gets official.
