Right on the wave of my last blog about how to retrofit your laptop, comes a blog on how to really retrofit your laptop with the latest gadgets. What I did not mention was that I attempted to add my own internal USB Wireless dongle into my Sony R505. I bought a cheap small usb wireless dongle and took the plastic cover off and soldered wireless to one of the USB ports on my laptop.
